Hello Reader!

I first picked up a pen at the age of 7 when I began journaling, then wrote my first manuscript at 11 by typing with my thumbs on an iPod Touch’s notes app. It was 121 pages and very bad. A few weeks after turning 16, I self-published a novel that ran for a limited batch.

Throughout my life, disability has often meant that I have to fit into another person’s idea of ‘belonging’ to fit in. I aim to break those molds through writing disabled characters like me (Autism, ADHD, Tourette’s, anxiety to name a few) finding their own successes. In the world of The Fates, I explore sexuality and gender through a lens of acceptance and love.

Just like me and you, the characters I write are also trying to be their best selves, whilst living messy and glorious lives. While I am now proudly neurodivergent, the protagonists tend to have more nuanced struggles with identity. It is not one, easy-coasting ride for humans, so why should it be for aliens? During the process of world-building, I actively include what being an auDHDer or having Tourette’s would mean for my characters in these places.

It is a delight to pair multi-faceted characters with action-packed plots and a bit of steaminess for a truly well-rounded story.

Thank you for supporting!

3 Facts About Me •

01 | I have 11 tattoos

Out of my 11 tattoos, there are 3 that I’ve designed from my experience writing The Fates. I have the initials for the protagonists in my own handwriting (plus a little heart), a logogram written in the numbers I created for the world, as well as a quote on neurodivergence and acceptance that is in my own handwriting and in the language I also created.

02 | I’m a mood reader

Every month I start with a list of books I’d like to read and every month I get through half. I find it most comforting to reread books, but I have been trying to explore more genres and authors!

03 | I collect stickers

Indeed, I do keep a little dish of stickers on my desk to decorate my technology with! I also enjoy covering the plastic cover of my manuscripts with holographic ones. One of my favourites quotes Welcome To The Black Parade by My Chemical Romance, and another says ‘BLEGH’ in metal font!
